Pino Jelly is a designer-toy character created by Chinese illustrator Yumi. The character is presented as a "soft candy boy" — a stylish pop-star figure from a world of sweets who, by a twist of fate, transforms into a candy companion in the human world. The visual design is inspired by colourful gummy sweets and emotion-themed scenarios. Yumi is a Chinese designer born in the 1990s who holds a degree in animation from the Communication University of China. Her work is centred on candy-themed character design, with each sweet imagined as its own personality. Pino Jelly is produced and distributed by Pop Mart in collaboration with Yumi.
