Every HIRONO series — full list & release history

Hirono — Xiao Ye in Chinese — is an introspective boy with oversized eyes and disheveled hair, designed to embody a full spectrum of human emotion: love, mischief, sadness, fear. The style sits closer to fine-art illustration than kawaii, with a moody, painterly register that's rare in the blind-box world. The complete HIRONO series list, from 2021 to 2026 all 58 series in release order, each with its date, figure count and a link to every figure and price. Shelfd keeps it current as new HIRONO drops land.

Created by Lang, a Pop Mart co-founder and the company's Art Director since 2011. Born in Luoyang and trained at Zhengzhou Sias College, Lang spent years pitching toy concepts to companies that turned him down before joining his college friend Wang Ning at Pop Mart. He works across painting, sculpture, toys, and animation, and says Hirono was inspired by literature, films, music, his childhood, and his son.

The Other One Series

#1 · 1 October 2021 · figures · 13 figures

The Other One Series

The series that introduced Hirono, Pop Mart's introspective boy character, created by the artist Lang. Its thirteen figures each personify a different corner of the inner self — the restless Vagrancy, the watchful Staring, the haunted The Ghost, the puppet-like Marionette — with Dreaming hidden as the secret. Rather than telling one story, the set works as a portrait gallery of moods and identities, and it set the melancholic, psychological tone every later Hirono series would build on.

City Of Mercy Series

#2 · 1 January 2022 · figures · 7 figures

City Of Mercy Series

Hirono's second series turns from the psyche outward to compassion and connection. Its seven figures move through states of hurt and repair — the wounded Fallen Angel, the detached Comfortably Numb, the restorative Healer — before the secret, Belonging, resolves the set on a note of acceptance and finding one's place. Smaller and gentler than The Other One, City of Mercy reads as Hirono learning to reach for others rather than retreat inward.

Little Mischief Series

#3 · 19 August 2022 · figures · 13 figures

Little Mischief Series

After two introspective sets, Little Mischief lets Hirono play. Its thirteen figures trade melancholy for imagination and fun chaos — the rebellious Destroyer, the sky-chasing Aviator, the mechanical Robot, the shape-shifting Pretender — with Unknown Journey hidden as the secret. Even at its most whimsical the series keeps Hirono's psychological streak, using disguise and restraint (Persona, Manacle) to hint at the selves beneath the mischief.

Mime Series

#4 · 14 July 2023 · figures · 13 figures

Mime Series

Mime is Hirono at his quietest — thirteen figures about what goes unsaid. Wordless characters carry the weight of hidden feeling: the searching Seeker, the confining Prison, the burdened Secrecy, the softly expressive Poem — with Silent hidden as the secret. Where earlier series named emotions outright, Mime stages them in gesture and stillness, making it one of the most atmospheric sets in the line.

Reshape Series

#6 · 17 November 2023 · figures · 10 figures

Reshape Series

Reshape is a series about change. Its ten figures trace transformation from rupture to renewal — the explosive Burst, the carefully carved Woodcarving, the overwhelmed Drowning, the self-discovering Voyage — with Puppet hidden as the secret, hinting at how much of our reshaping is chosen and how much is controlled. It's a tighter, more sculptural set that leans into Hirono's fragility-and-resilience themes.

Shelter Series

#9 · 19 July 2024 · figures · 13 figures

Shelter Series

Shelter asks where we go to feel safe. Each of its thirteen figures is a different kind of refuge — the fortified Fort, the cosy Cabin, the paradoxical Bird Cage that both protects and confines, the playful Traffic Cone — with the Stuffed Bear hidden as the secret, standing for the comfort of childhood. It's one of Hirono's warmest sets, trading angst for the many small places we hide.

Echo Series Figures

#18 · 11 April 2025 · figures · 13 figures

Echo Series Figures

Echo is built on nostalgia — thirteen figures catching the fleeting moments of childhood. Hirono daydreams, dodges rain, and plots a bedtime Breakout Plan across the set, each pose a small memory. The secret, Never Growing Up, lights up head and chest to stand for eternal youth — a fitting prize for a series about holding on to the child in us. Released April 2025, it's among the most collectible modern Hirono sets.

Monsters Carnival

#28 · 16 October 2025 · figures · 7 figures

Monsters Carnival

A Halloween turn for Hirono: Monsters Carnival dresses the character up as a parade of classic horrors — Creepy Clown, Grim Reaper, Vampire, Zombie, the plague-masked Doctor Beak and a Killer Bunny among its seven figures. Playful rather than frightening, it's Hirono's costume box, leaning into the collectible fun of monster archetypes.

Tamed Wildgrass Series Figures

#38 · 2 April 2026 · figures · 13 figures

Tamed Wildgrass Series Figures

Hirono's most pointed series yet, Tamed Wildgrass reads as a portrait of modern working life. Its thirteen figures name the pressures of the grind — Sisyphean Work, Overload, Full Time, the Digital Bind, the Caged Bird, living Under Receipts — with the title casting the worker as wildgrass cut down and kept in line. Released April 2026, it's Hirono at his most socially observant, turning the character's introspection outward onto the world of work.
