MOLLY is the pouting blonde-haired girl who started everything — created as a vinyl art toy in 2006, she became Pop Mart's first blind-box character ten years later and was the inspiration for the original Pop Mart logo. Her signature feature is the pursed-lip expression; her variants range from zodiac figures to giant 1000%-scale Space Molly astronauts. Created by Hong Kong artist Kenny Wong, Molly is Pop Mart's founding icon and still one of its most productive lines: Shelfd tracks 80 mainline Molly series, with the Space Molly and MEGA ranges tracked as their own line on top. Because Molly is a canvas more than a character, the collaboration list is the wildest in the roster — recent crossovers include Crocs (Angry Cheese), Warner Bros' 100th anniversary, photographer Mika Ninagawa, Instinctoy and the singer YUQI. For collectors, Molly is also the deepest back-catalogue in the hobby: two decades of design history, from early art-toy editions to today's blind-box waves and MEGA royal editions. In 2026 she has celebrated her 20th anniversary year with a range of limited pieces and collaborations such as Starbucks, Crocs and more. New Molly series release through Pop Mart's own channels, with stock reaching AliExpress's official storefronts and physical stockists. Created by Kenny Wong Shun Ming, a Hong Kong art-toy designer who works through his studio Kennyswork. He met the real Molly — a girl with lake-green eyes — at a 2006 charity fundraiser; she answered "My name is Molly" when asked, and the character was born that day. After a decade as an independent collector figure, Wong signed with Pop Mart founder Wang Ning in 2016. The July 2016 MOLLY Zodiac series was Pop Mart's first blind box and the template for every Pop Mart IP that followed.
